How does a virtual care visit work?

Step 1:

Choose your visit type, Video or Text and fill out the online clinical intake form for the condition you want help with.

Step 2:

Based on your needs, we will match you with the right clinician licensed in your state.

Step 3:

The assigned clinician will review your intake form and prepare a care plan personalized for you. In case of a Video Visit, the clinician will connect with you on a video call to clarify doubts or discuss your concerns before preparing your care plan.

Step 4:

Once your care plan is ready, we will send it to your dashboard, and notify you via email and text.

Do I have the option of choosing the clinician for my visit?

Based on the information you provide in your online clinical intake form, an appropriate clinician licensed in your state will be assigned to you.

How do I join a video call with my clinician?

You will be notified via a text message and an email 5 minutes before your video call with the clinician. After the notification, there are two ways you can join the video call:

  • Log in to your account and under Your Live Video, click Join Video to join the video call with your clinician.
  • Open your email and click the video call link that was shared with you along with the notification. You will be prompted to log in, and directed to the video call with your clinician.

Do I need to download an app to join the video call?

As iCliniq First is browser-based, you do not need to download an app to join the video call. With the link to the video call shared via email, you can join from any browser or device without hassle.
However, we have dedicated apps available for Android and iOS, which you can download for free to get the most out of your experience.

Can I reschedule my visit?

Currently, only scheduled video visits can be rescheduled (on-demand video visits and text visits cannot be rescheduled).
To reschedule a scheduled video visit, please log in and go to Your Visits and click View Details on the visit you want to reschedule. Click the three dots at the top right and click Reschedule Visit. From the available times, select a time that works for you, and click Confirm Rescheduling to complete your rescheduling process.
Note: Rescheduling is only allowed up to 2 hours prior to the previously scheduled time of the visit. For example, if your visit is scheduled for 9:00 PM, the option to reschedule will be available only until 7:00 PM.

What can I expect at the end of my visit?

A detailed visit summary will be provided upon completion of your visit. This summary typically includes your symptoms, past medical/family history, diagnosis, suggested treatment plan, preventive measures (if any), precautions to be taken, and prescribed medicines (if you are eligible). The clinician assigned to you will review your medical details and prepare this visit summary.
